Full of history and family traditions, Confeções Ramil has been part of the Portuguese textile industry since 1985, when it was founded by Raul Carvalho de Azevedo, remaining in the Azevedo family ever since.
Located in the small village of Ruivães, V.N. Famalicão, in the North of Portugal, Confeções Ramil is dedicated to the design, development, and manufacture of a wide range of textile products, specializing in clothing for men, women, and children. In order to ensure and safeguard the quality of its products, the company owns four industrial circular looms that provide for the spinning and weaving of the raw materials used throughout the manufacturing process. Furthermore, acknowledging the urgent need to move towards a greener future, the company strives every day to adopt more environmentally friendly practices. In fact, the majority of our garments are made of organic cotton, which not only is a fabric of the finest quality but also a more sustainable option.
While operating within one of the most traditional and strategic sectors of the Portuguese economy, Confeções Ramil has over the years expanded its business into the export market, where it stood out due to its high-quality products, work ethics and technically advanced means of production. Today, the company exports 90% of its production, establishing itself as a key player in this highly-competitive industry capable of responding to the ever-evolving needs of the consumers and latest trends without compromising its core values.
Operating within a 1.800 square meters facility, Confeções Ramil is constituted of a team of 35 people. The vast majority of our employees have been with us for several years and are undeniably the driving force behind our success.
